New Razorlight drummer "excellent"

According to Q magazine this week Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell has revealed Razorlight considered calling it quits after drummer Andy Burrows quit earlier this year.

The talented drummer left the band in March citing "personal reasons" and although the band seemed destined to carry on at the time, it's revealed on the Q website that they considered hanging up their skinny jeans, "It was not at all certain that we were going to carry on" says Borrell.

But all is well again now that new drummer David "Skully" Sullivan-Kaplan has joined the band. "He's a really great guy and an excellent drummer, so it all feels new and exciting" says Borrell on the Q website.
